Scheduled
second update in progress
Plesk has now released fixed packages for the older PHP versions 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1 as well. We are installing them today on all servers with managed service. The version numbers stay the same (7.4.33, 8.0.30, 8.1.34), but the packages contain the PHP project's security fixes. No action is needed on your side. PHP services will restart briefly during the update.
Status after this update: - PHP 7.4 to 8.5: fixed. - PHP 7.3 and older: still no fix available. The mitigation applied yesterday stays active, but it does not fully close the vulnerability. - Plesk panel: Plesk has announced the fix (18.0.81 Update 4). We will install it as soon as it is available.
Our recommendation remains: switch websites running PHP 8.1 or older to PHP 8.3 or newer. Versions 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1 no longer receive regular updates, and PHP 8.2 only until 31.12.2026.
